US Shares climb as Trump is Sworn in

Despite the complaints from around the world with regards to Donald Trump becoming the 45th President of the United States of America, shares on the US Stock markets actually rose. Apparently thats the first time in 50 years that the value of stocks and shares rose, albeit modestly, when a new President is inaugurated. If you own shares in once UK Companies such as Cadbury’s or Schweppes then you now own shares in a US Company as these companies were taken over by Kraft and Dr Pepper.

Remember if you wish to sell shares which are listed on the US Shares markets including the Nasdaq, Dow Jones and S&P 500, unless you are using a corporate brokerage firm you will need a Medallion Signature Guarantee. Also known as the Medallion Stamp, the medallion will need to be affixed to the share sale form before the share registrar or transfer agent permits the transfer or sale of the shares.
